What motivated you to pursue your passion?

Honestly, my motivation to pursue my passion is entertaining people. I love giving people good music that they want to hear and the only way I get motivated is when people send me snaps of them listening to my music or someone just saying oh your Brizzy I’ve heard about you. Another thing that motivates me is that you don’t see a lot of Lebanese (Rnb/Rap) artists, I want to be able to perform in Beirut and being able to put on a show around the world that yes not only the west can do good music, but so do we.

 Who inspires you the most?

Apart from Chris brown and Drake, everyday stories I get to hear from people or even stuff I personally go through inspires me easily. I like telling a story through my music sometimes, and I sometimes I just want to record a club banger It really just depends on my mood at the end of the day.

How do you handle the various challenges surrounding what you do?

I used to get annoyed, and I used to overthink stuff. I then realized that if you never give up and believe in yourself you’ll make it. Its not an easy job to make people listen to your music but its very interesting to see people who never believed in you come talk to you after 6 years telling you “Oh I love your new track”.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I see myself performing in big concerts, big clubs with 2 or 3 albums dropped worldwide.

What advice would you give to someone up and coming?

I repeat, “Believe in yourself”. It’s the first step to becoming an artist, you got to market yourself and think of yourself as a product that you want to sell the customer’s a.k.a the listeners.
